the heritage cut
Respect for tradition
In the winter of 2008, we met with our team of small, family growers with one question;
Can we develop a tree that pays respect to our shared heritage while producing a product that meets the changing demand in our industry?
A tree that is free of pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, a tree that our grandparents sold in the early 1900's and can we make it better?
In 2015, after years of development and hard work, our first-ever, limited harvest of the Cedar Grove Christmas Trees- Heritage Cut shipped to a small group of wholesale customers in the Northeast US. Our Heritage trees will be available in limited quantities in 2016, with inventories increasing to 17,000 per year through 2020.
